Volunteer Inquiries

Drawing Alegria is in constant need of volunteers. We are always looking for energetic, motivated people who want to achieve their personal goals and ultimately make a difference in the world.

We need people willing to donate their time and their expertise to creating healthier, happier lives

across Latin America! There are many different types of volunteers associated with Drawing Alegria; the two primary types of volunteers we look for are event volunteers and surgical journey volunteers.

We are constantly growing and evolving – if you have any unique propositions on how you’d like to volunteer your time please contact us!

Event

Volunteers

Drawing Alegria is always looking for volunteers to assist at and leading up to our various fundraising events. These opportunities primarily take place in the Greater Toronto Area as this is where most of our fundraising events take place. This commitment requires you to attend occasional meetings, assist in setting up and taking down venues, helping to procure auction items, sell raffle tickets and/or assist in generating publicity for events.

We ask for commitment on an event basis, meaning no long-term commitment is necessary. However,

we’re sure that if you get involved with Drawing Alegria, you’ll want to do it all over again!

Surgical Journey Volunteer

Drawing Alegria is looking for passionate and professional individuals to dedicate their medical expertise and experience to the cause. Medical professionals from across the globe are encouraged to apply.

Surgical Journey Volunteers include but are not limited to surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, orthodontists, dentists, speech pathologists, therapists, etc. We ask for commitment on a surgical

journey basis, meaning there will be commitment required leading up to and during the Surgical Journey

you are part of but no formal long-term commitment is necessary. However, we’re sure that if you get

involved with Drawing Alegria, you’ll want to do it all over again!
