Meet the Co-founders
Francisco and Dario Garzon are not only the co-founders of Drawing Alegria, but they are also brothers. They’ve always shared the vision of giving back to the community. The Garzon brothers come from a region in Colombia where many children live in difficult health, nutrition and housing conditions. As a result of this, in 2014 they decided that helping these struggling children live healthier and happier lives would be the best way to give back to the community ultimately grant them a better future. By combining Francisco’s administrative and interpersonal skills while leveraging Dario’s interest, connections, and experience in the health industry, Drawing Alegria was able to grow and become what it is today.

Meet the Surgical Team
Our surgery team evaluates the children and performs the surgeries. Without their expertise and high quality of work, we would not be able to do what we do. The surgical team is made up of surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub nurses, and nurses.
